G DATA Generation 2020: New BEAST technology protects against unknown malware
One for all: New Next Generation solution offers Multi Device Security – users can protect Windows computers, MacBooks, iOS and Android devices with a single licence.
Ransomware, phishing, banking Trojans - cyber criminals are constantly working to develop malware that security solutions cannot detect. To provide comprehensive protection against cyber-attacks, German cyber defence company G DATA has developed BEAST. The new technology detects malware on the basis of its malicious behaviour and stops it immediately. BEAST is now included in all Windows products. To coincide with the launch of Catalina, the new Apple operating system, G DATA is simultaneously launching a completely revamped Mac version of its antivirus software. The new G DATA security solutions protect private users on the Internet when surfing, shopping, and banking online. The solutions are available as of now in specialist shops and web shops.

BEAST provides protection against new and previously unknown malware. Unlike conventional behaviour analysis, G DATA technology records all system behaviour in a graph and thus provides a holistic view. In this way, BEAST accurately detects malicious processes and can stop them immediately. The technology is based on a self-developed, lightweight graph database that runs locally on the customer's computer. BEAST does not require any user queries at all.
New: G DATA Multi Device Security
Windows PC, Mac, Android smartphone or tablet - with the new G DATA Multi Device Security, customers can make them all secure with a single licence. If required, the award-winning security solutions Internet Security, Total Security, Antivirus for Mac, Mobile Internet Security for Android, and Mobile Internet Security for iOS can be combined with each other - including current virus signature and software updates. The multi-device licence can be extended at any time in the personal “My G DATA” area, and individual components can be transferred to other devices.

The completely revamped G DATA Antivirus for Mac provides reliable protection against malware, Trojans, and phishing and is compatible with Catalina, the new macOS operating system. Using a security solution for Mac not only protects your own Apple computer - it also detects malware for Windows systems.
